Remy Gardner
Né le 24 février 1998 à Randwick, Australie
Son of former 500 world champion Wayne Gardner, Remy switched to road racing at the age of ten after taking part in several motocross and enduro competitions in Australia. He left Sydney in his early teens to move to Spain, where he joined the Mediterranean championship. In 2013 he took part in the CEV Moto3. Two years later, he moved up to Grand Prix racing with Alain Bronec's CIP, but struggled to adapt due to his size. He then turned to the Moto2 category. First in Spain, then very quickly in the World Championship, where he replaced Alessandro Tonucci at Tasca Racing.
In 2017, Remy Gardner joined the Tech3 Racing team. His apprenticeship was a difficult one, with a number of injuries disrupting his progress. He nevertheless finished his collaboration with the French team in fifth place. Moving to SAG, he took pole and a podium but still lacked consistency. He played more regularly at the front in 2020, taking his first victory in Portimão to end the season in sixth place. Recruited by the Red Bull KTM Ajo team, he triumphed in 2021.
With twelve podiums including five wins, he clinched the Moto2 World Championship title and opened the doors to MotoGP with the Tech 3 team. Unfortunately, the Austrian manufacturer's RC16 lacked performance that year, and the Australian failed to convince KTM to keep him. He then found refuge in WSBK with the GYTR GRT Yamaha team, which enabled him to return to the podium. Last year, Remy Gardner thought he would be able to compete more consistently at the front of the pack. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The Australian only managed one third-place finish and ended the season in eleventh position.

Stefano Manzi
Né le 29 mars 1999 à Rimini, Italie
En rejoignant le Mondial Superbike avec l’équipe GYTR GRT Yamaha, Stefano Manzi aborde en 2026 une nouvelle étape de sa carrière. L’Italien arrive dans la catégorie reine des machines dérivées de la série auréolé du titre de champion du monde Supersport. Pour sa première saison en WSBK, l’objectif sera d’abord de poursuivre son adaptation à la grosse cylindrée et de se faire un nom dans un plateau particulièrement relevé. Manzi s’est illustré en Supersport durant quatre saisons complètes. Il a terminé vice-champion à deux reprises avant de finalement conquérir la couronne mondiale en 2025.
Le pilote Yamaha s’est imposé dès la première course au guidon de la nouvelle R9. Il a ensuite largement dominé le championnat, accumulant onze victoires et vingt podiums en vingt-quatre courses. Avant de s’imposer en Supersport, l’Italien avait construit l’essentiel de son expérience en Grands Prix. Passé par la Red Bull Rookies Cup, il a disputé cinq saisons complètes en Moto2 entre 2017 et 2021 après avoir effectué une saison en Moto3 en 2016.
Ces années dans le paddock MotoGP lui ont permis d’acquérir une solide expérience internationale et de se mesurer à une concurrence dense, même si les résultats les plus marquants de sa carrière sont arrivés en Supersport. Son adaptation à la Yamaha R1 et sa capacité à rivaliser avec les pilotes les plus expérimentés du plateau constitueront cette année les principaux enjeux de sa nouvelle aventure en WSBK.
