TotalEnergies Becomes Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP's Official Fuel Supplier

Gerno di Lesmo (Italy), 27th June 2024 - Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP aim to spearhead MotoGP's 40% non-fossil racing fuel initiative for 2024-2026 with the help of the team's new Official Fuel Supplier, TotalEnergies.

Yamaha is delighted to confirm it has signed a multi-year agreement with TotalEnergies, making the global multi-energy company the Official Fuel Supplier of the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Team.

With the new agreement, the product that TotalEnergies supply to the Yamaha Factory Racing MotoGP team is a 40% non-fossil racing fuel, as per the MotoGP Technical Regulation (2.4.5.1 Fuel and Oil). The product is tailor-made for the YZR-M1 engine thanks to a very strong collaboration between YMC and TotalEnergies' engineering teams and is developed to maximize the engine power output and minimize fuel consumption. This product uses the most cutting-edge technology of TotalEnergies, including its 'Excellium additive technology'.
