With TotalEnergies, today's motorsports
reflects tomorrow's mobility

Wherever Motorsports evolves, TotalEnergies is there, as an energy transition pioneer. Because energy takes many forms, TotalEnergies shapes the road ahead by developing hydrogen, biofuels, and electric solutions. All the energies we use today in motorsports reflect a lower-carbon future for your mobility.

The TotalEnergies input at 24 Hours of Le Mans

Since 2022, TotalEnergies is the official supplier of the GT World Challenge Europe and Asia and the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC), including the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans as well as the European Le Mans Series (ELMS) and Asian Le Mans Series (ALMS) with its a fuel linked to feedstocks such as used cooking oils, sugar beet residues, and wood waste from the paper industry.
Excellium Racing evo enables to cut CO2 emissions by at least 65%* compared to its fossile equivalent.

The track is our laboratory. In collaboration with Peugeot Sport, TotalEnergies develops and engineers the lubricants and fluids used by the Peugeot 9X8 competing in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC). Our lubricants directly benefit from the expertise gained in competition to deliver cutting-edge technologies tailored to the demands of modern powertrains. To learn more about the Quartz hybrid range, visit Quartz Xtra.

TotalEnergies drives the electric revolution in partnership with DS-PENSKE Formula E Team

Since 2016, TotalEnergies has been working hand in hand with DS-Automobiles in the FIA Formula E World Championship, the first all-electric World Championship. By developing cutting-edge fluids tailored for electric powertrains, TotalEnergies enhances battery cooling - a key to maximizing efficiency and safety during the race.

These innovations feed the Quartz EV Fluid range by TotalEnergies, designed to drive progress on and off the track for all electric vehicles: hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and full-electric.

TotalEnergies brought hydrogen to the fast lane

In partnership with the Automobile Club de l'Ouest and MissionH24, TotalEnergies is pioneering zero-emission endurance racing with mobile hydrogen filling stations. This world-first innovation made in 2019 allows the hydrogen-electric prototype H24 EVO to refuel safely and efficiently in one minute. This breakthrough will reach a whole new level when the new class of hydrogen-powered prototypes enter the race at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in the near future.

There's a new winning formula for every truck

TotalEnergies is the official supplier of 100% renewable fuel for the Goodyear FIA ETRC with its HVO100: a 100% renewable fuel that reduces CO2 emissions by up to 90% over its life cycle compared to standard diesel**.

TotalEnergies’ heavy duty motor oil line, Rubia, is tested by the Lion Truck Racing team under the extreme conditions of the ETRC and the French Truck Championship. Tailor-made fluids ensure optimal engine efficiency, even on the most demanding roads. This innovation pushes the limits of endurance and efficiency both on the motorsports tracks and on the road.

Thanks to its Pro-Efficient technology, Rubia lubricants reduce mechanical wear, improves deposit control, limits oxidation, and lowers oil consumption. This enables to extend drain intervals, increases engine life, and helps reduce maintenance costs. To learn more about this product and other Rubia products, visit Rubia lubricants.

* In line with the methodology defined by Directive 2018/2001 on the promotion of renewable energy, as amended by Directive RED III (2023/2413), Excellium Racing evo enables a reduction of at least 65% in greenhouse gas emissions over its entire life cycle compared to its fossil equivalent.
**A reduction in CO2 emissions of at least 60% and up to 90% compared to a standard diesel fuel. Depending on the origin of the raw materials used during production and measured on a well-to-wheel cycle.
