Launched in 2014, the FIA Formula E Championship is now a major global motorsports event. For TotalEnergies, which wants to meet the challenges of sustainable mobility, it is an ideal “test lab”. To test and develop tomorrow’s solutions, we have set out our commitment to this discipline, alongside our partner DS-PENSKE.

Launched in 2018, MissionH24 is a collaborative project between the Automobile Club de l’Ouest (ACO) and the engineering consultancy GreenGT that aims to create a dedicated category for hydrogen-powered electric vehicles at the 24 Hours of Le Mans event in 2024. Its ambition is clear: accelerating research and development for this type of energy to achieve zero-emission mobility.

Until 2023, TotalEnergies is the official fuel supplier for the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC), which includes the 24 Hours of Le Mans, a legendary race during which we will be providing close support for our partner teams.

Heavily involved in Endurance racing, a discipline unequivocally considered to be the ultimate proving ground for developing the high-performance fuels of tomorrow, TotalEnergies has added another string to its bow by signing a partnership between the TotalEnergies brand and COOL Racing for the 2020 European Le Mans Series and the 2020 24 Hours of Le Mans. 

The Asian Le Mans Series is becoming the reference endurance racing series in Asia and the Series is also the perfect training ground for those wanting to step up the ACO ladder.

Started in 2021 and partnered by TotalEnergies, the Opel Electric Rally Cup has been an instant hit. This is hardly a surprise, given not only its 100% electric concept – a highly innovative approach in rallying – but also its carefully-designed regulations that promote the involvement of younger competitors.
