Jack Miller
Born on 18 January 1995 in Townsville, Australia

Like most Australian riders, Jack Miller discovered motorbike racing on the dirt tracks of Queensland. He was not even ten years old when he won his first dirt-track title. Attracted by racetracks, he gave up off-road to try his hand at road racing, riding a 125cc bike which he took part in the national championship in 2009.

Convinced that his future lay in Europe, he moved abroad the following year to race in Spain and Germany. After his first successes in these national championships, he moved up to the Grand Prix in 2012. Runner-up in the Moto3 World Championship two years later, he made the step up to MotoGP with the Honda LCR team without passing through Moto2. He then joined the Marc VDS Racing Team and took a memorable victory at Assen.

The following season he scored nine top-ten finishes, and at the end of the year signed up with the Pramac team to ride a Ducati. In the two years he has been on the podium nine times, opening the doors to the official team and teaming up with Francesco Bagnaia. A two-time winner in 2021, he had his best season that year, finishing fourth overall. Fifth the following season, he finally signed for KTM. But adapting to the RC16 wasn't easy. In two seasons, the Australian won just one Grand Prix without ever finishing the championship in the top ten.

After Honda, Ducati and KTM, Jack will be riding a Yamaha this year. The Japanese manufacturer is obviously counting on his experience to improve its M1.

Miguel Oliveira came close to winning the Spanish title in 2009 and 2010, before making his full-time Moto3 Grand Prix debut in 2012 with the Estrella Galicia 0,0 team. He quickly achieved a podium finish before switching to Indian manufacturer Mahindra. Recruited by the Ajo KTM team in 2015, the Portuguese rider took his first two wins at Mugello and Assen before breaking his wrist. That year, however, he finished runner-up in the World Championship before moving up to Moto2.

After a difficult start in the intermediate class, Oliveira eventually finished third. 2017 with six wins. World runner-up the following year, he then switched to MotoGP with the KTM Tech 3 team. Despite a shoulder injury that forced him to withdraw from the last two Grands Prix, Oliveira finished 17th in his first season in the premier class.

The following season, he scored his first two wins in the premier class. It was a first for both the Portuguese driver and the French team. A regular front-runner, he finished the championship in ninth place. Promoted to the official KTM team, he finished on the podium several times, but suffered a hand injury which spoiled his end of season.

His adaptation to the Italian machine proved tricky, as bad luck pursued him. Crashes and injuries followed. He only finished nine races in 2023, and missed another five in 2024.
