Alpine Endurance Team – FIA WEC

After two promising seasons with the Hypercar A424 prototype, a first podium finish in 2024 and a maiden victory a year later at the 6 Hours of Fuji, the Alpine Endurance Team returns this year with two Alpine A424s driven by two revamped crews, strengthened by the addition of Antonio Felix da Costa and Victor Martins.

Antonio Felix da Costa
Born on August 31, 1991, in Cascais, Portugal

Ten years after his debut in karting, Antonio Felix da Costa's career took off with his victory in the Macau Grand Prix and a spectacular end to 2012 in Formula Renault 3.5, which earned him a test with Red Bull Racing Formula One. In 2014, the Portuguese driver joined BMW in the DTM and the new Formula E championship with Team Aguri. But it was with DS Techeetah that he won the world title in 2019-2020, the year he made his endurance racing debut with Jota Sport (LMP2). Winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans and LMP2 world champion, Antonio Felix da Costa continued his career on a dual Formula E/FIA WEC program with Porsche, before joining the Alpine Endurance Team in 2026.

Charles Milesi
Born on March 4, 2001, in Chaumont, France

After cutting his teeth in karting, Charles Milesi switched to single-seater racing before moving to Endurance in 2020. He quickly performed well in the discipline, winning the FIA LMP2 Endurance Trophy in the 2021 FIA WEC, with three race wins including the 24 Hours of Le Mans. He joined the Alpine Elf Endurance Team in 2023. He was one of the fastest Hypercar drivers in the field in 2024, qualifying the Alpine A424 for the Hyperpole on several occasions. In 2025, Charles won his first world endurance race at the 6 Hours of Fuji and clinched the European Le Mans Series title.

Ferdinand Habsburg
Born on June 21, 1997, in Salzburg, Austria.

The Austrian recently joined the Alpine Elf Endurance Team family ahead of the Hypercar programme. His recruitment follows his impressive climb of the Endurance ladder in recent years. After having won the Asian Le Mans Series in 2021, he also clinched the FIA LMP2 Endurance Trophy in the same year, with a win at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, before confirming in 2022 with another success this time in the European Le Mans Series. His dedication was rewarded in 2025 with his first FIA WEC world victory at the 6 Hours of Fuji.

Victor Martins 
Born on June 16, 2001, in Quincy-sous-Sénart, France

A champion gymnast, Victor discovered karting at the age of 11 and began competing in 2014. Two years later, he became OK-Junior world champion at just 15 years old. Victor then moved into single-seater racing and won titles in the Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 and FIA Formula 3, before joining Formula 2 with ART Grand Prix. In 2025, he secured two pole positions and one victory. A member of the Alpine Academy since 2022, Victor was called up by the Alpine Endurance Team to drive the No. 36 A424 Hypercar in the FIA WEC.

Jules Gounon
Born on December 31, 1994, in Aubenas, France

Son of the former driver Jean-Marc Gounon, Jules was surrounded by the world of motorsport at a young age. After starting out late but successfully in karting, he tried single-seater racing before making a productive switch to Grand Touring cars. Two-time winner of the 24 Hours of Spa and ADAC GT Masters Champion, he has one of the best competitive records in GT racing. Jules joined the Alpine Endurance Team last year when he replaced Ferdinand Habsburg and his performances impressed… Official driver in 2025, Jules is logically reappointed for the 2026 season.

Frédéric Makowiecki
Born on November 22, 1980, in Arras, France

Formerly at Porsche, Frédéric Makowiecki is one of the most experienced drivers in the World Endurance Championship, having competed in the series for more than ten years. After starting out in karting, Frédéric quickly moved into GT racing. He impressed in the FIA GT world championship and the Super GT in Japan, before winning several major Endurance races in the GT class (24H of Le Mans, Nürburgring, etc.) and then switching to prototypes in 2023. His vast experience is an asset to the Alpine Endurance Team, which has re-signed him for the 2026 season.
