Deniz Öncü
Born on 26 July 2003 in Alanya, Turkey

Deniz Öncü has gradually established himself as one of the most promising representatives of the new generation of Turkish motorcycle racing. He made a name for himself from his international debut in 2016 in the Asia Talent Cup. After a first season of learning, which ended with him finishing tenth, he took a step forward the following year by winning the title, while his twin brother finished third. The two riders continued their training in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup, where Deniz finished runner-up in 2018, behind Can. That same year, they joined Ajo Motorsport to compete in the FIM CEV Moto3 Junior Championship.

Öncü then discovered the Moto3 World Championship in 2019 with two wildcard appearances. He began his first full season in 2020 with the Red Bull KTM Tech3 team. He finished the year in 17th place in the standings. The 2021 season marked a significant step forward with his first podium finishes in Moto3. Despite a spectacular incident in Austin that earned him a two-race suspension, he ended the season with three podium finishes and eleventh place in the championship.

In 2023, back at Ajo, Öncü claimed his first Grand Prix victory at the Sachsenring. This performance paved the way for his move to Moto2 the following year with the same team. After a first season of adaptation, he distinguished himself in 2025 by claiming his first win in the intermediate category. He thus became the first Turkish rider to win in Moto2.

For 2026, Öncü continued his progress by joining the ELF Marc VDS Racing Team, where he teamed up with Arón Canet with the ambition of establishing himself among the contenders for the top spots.

Aron Canet
Born on 30 September 1999 in Corbera, Spain

Born on 30 September 1999 in Corbera, in the province of Valencia, Aron Canet has gradually established himself as one of the most consistent riders in the intermediate Grand Prix category. Prior to that, the Spaniard had excelled in Moto3, securing his first wins in 2017 and finishing on the final podium.

Runner-up in the Moto3 World Championship in 2019 and then in Moto2 in 2024, the Spaniard is continuing his career in 2026 with the Marc VDS Racing Team and a Boscoscuro chassis. Before arriving in the world championship, Canet distinguished himself in the various Spanish youth categories. In 2015, he finished third in the FIM CEV Moto3 Junior Championship. The following year, he made his Grand Prix debut in Moto3 with a Honda and the Estrella Galicia 0,0 team. In 2019, Max Biaggi recruited him to race with a Husqvarna in his Sterilgarda team. Unfortunately, a series of retirements at the end of the season compromised his chances against Lorenzo Dalla Porta, who was crowned champion.

Canet moved up to Moto2 in 2020 with the Aspar Team. He then joined Sito Pons' team for the 2022 and 2023 seasons, before continuing with Fantic Racing, with whom he has won five races in two years. He achieved his best results in 2024, finishing second in the championship.

This season, Aron Canet joins the ELF Marc VDS team, where he will team up with Turkish rider Deniz Öncü. The Spaniard is approaching this new chapter with the aim of winning the world championship title.
